Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s)

EPCs are required by law, and with our EPC you’ll be able to tell how energy efficient the property is that you are interested in buying, selling or renting out. EPCs are needed when a property is built, sold or rented out. If you are selling a property you will need to order an EPC for potential buyers before you market your property. We offer EPCs for both commercial and residential properties.

The data collected will consider the age of the property, any extensions, the construction, relevant fittings and insulation. Our EPC will give you recommendations on ways to improve energy efficiency and we’ll be able to give advice on any major defects or immediate issues found, including the potential cost of repairs. All Energy Performance Certificates give your property a rating from A to G, with A being the most energy efficient and G the least. With our expertise we’ll be able to suggest ways to cut energy costs and reduce the carbon footprint of the property, including possible alternatives for heating or electrical methods.
